WeatherFlow Tempest
on WindRose.
The Tempest all-in-one station, and the earlier Air and Sky pair. One token is all it takes, and your stations are listed for you.
What you need
- A Tempest account that owns the station.
- A personal access token, created in the Tempest web app.
Step by step
Sign in at tempestwx.com and open Settings, then Data Authorizations.
Create a token and copy it.
In WindRose open Stations, then Add station, and choose WeatherFlow Tempest.
Paste the token and press Look up. Your stations appear.
Pick one, name it, and save.

Worth knowing
Your Tempest measures in whatever units you chose in the app. WindRose reads that setting and converts, so the numbers are right whichever way you have it set.
The Tempest derives its own feels-like, heat index, wind chill, dew point and wet bulb, and WindRose keeps the station’s own values rather than recomputing them.
